We thank the Department of Biodiversity Conservation and Attractions (DBCA) and Melville Council for recognising the importance of preserving and enhancing birdlife for future generations, and for recognising the importance of collectively managing the areas of Alfred Cove, the Swan Estuary Marine Park foreshore and mudflats, Point Walter Spit, Blackwall Reach and Blackwall Reach Parade as the Melville Bird Sanctuary, for important conservation outcomes.

Friends of Melville Bird Sanctuary is not an incorporated group.
