Guided Birdwatching Walks
Friends of MBS organises regular Birdwatching Walks for the community along the MBS boundaries, led by people well-versed in birds of the area. Keep an eye on the events schedule above to see when the next walk is taking place, or contact us if you’d like to enquire about organising a group tour.

World Migratory Bird Day

(Entry from Haig Rd/Burke Dr junction, parking along Burke Dr near Haig Rd)
Activities: Guided birdwatching walks with experienced birders, bird photographers providing tips/advice including ethical photography, information booths, fun activities for kids and Birdlife merchandise for sale. Light refreshments provided.
